A doctor came from Syria to Madinah. With the permission of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) he opened his surgery in the city of Madinah. The doctor offered to treat the poor for free of charge. He Stayed in Madinah for some time but the Muslims hardly went to him for treatment. He was surprised and puzzled. Being a foreigner and a Christian, he felt that perhaps the people did not trust him. He put his complaint to the Rasool of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam). Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) assured him that what he thought was wrong. The Muslims of Madinah were in good health. There was no need to go to a doctor. “How is that possible?” the doctor asked. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) replied’ “ Muslims are not allowed to eat unclean, harmful foods. They are required to eat good, nutritious and healthy foods. They eat only when they are really hungry. When they eat, they do not overeat

The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "Every righteous child who casts a look of mercy and affection upon his parents shall be granted, for every look of his, rewards equivalent to that of an accepted Hajj." Those around the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) questioned: "O Prophet of Allah! Even if he were to look at them a hundred times a day?" The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) replied: "Indeed! Allah is the Greatest and Most Kind.
Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour. And, out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility, and say, `My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood”. (Qur'ãn 17:23-24)
Sayyidina Anas (R.A.) reported that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, "Whosoever wants comfort, sustenance and long life should do good to his blood relations and treat his parents well." (Ahmad)
Sayyidina Abu Huraira (R.A.) reported that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) once said, "May his nose be smeared in dust." Someone asked to whom was he referring to. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, that the man, who has aged parents and did not avail himself of

A BOY IN WAIT

“I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan''

Merciful"

The night was dark and it was late. Bayazeed was a boy of tender age. His mother was sleeping while he was learning his lessons. Suddenly the mother said in a sleepy voice, “A cup of water my son, I am thirsty.” Bayazeed immediately went to fetch the water but he found the pot empty. He went out of the house to the spring. By the time he returned his mother had fallen back in a deep sleep. What was the young Bayazeed to do? If he awakened his mother, it would give her trouble. He decided to sit silently next to his mother with the cup of water in his hand. At last the mother opened her eyes and lo! Bayazeed was still sitting by her side. The mother remembered what she had said to her son in the early part of the night. She was very pleased with her son and hugged him. She prayed to Allah for water

SOMETHING
FOR EVERYONE

For the Cricket player :
When he is caught he says to
himself: If only I had played
that ball down.

For the Football player :
When he misses a chance to
score a goal, he says to himself:
If only I had scored.

For the Businessman :
When he misses out on a good
business deal he says to himself:
If only I took advantage of that
deal.

For the Student :
When he is writing an exam,
wherein he does not know what
is happening he says to himself:
If only I had studied for the
exams.

Similarly for everyone who
makes a mistake and when he
realizes his mistakes, he says to
himself:
If only I …

We find in all the above
instances, the person involved
will always receive another
batting, scoring or studying
chance wherein he will manage
to rectify any errors committed.
However in one instance there is
not going to be another chance
i.e. The Day of Qiyãmah
(Resurrection). Where a person
will see the true reality of Jannah
and Jahannum.
And he will say to himself :
If only… If only… If only…

BE KIND TO ALL
Once a man asked permission to meet Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasllam). Permission was given. “Let him come in,” said Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasllam) “He is known as the worst member of his tribe.” When the man came in, Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasllam) greeted him politely. He talked to him very gently and kindly. This surprised Sayyidinah Aisha (R.A.). As soon as the man was gone, she asked Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasllam) why, if he was not a good man, did he talk to him so kindly. Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasllam) replied, “The worst man in the eyes of Allah is he who stops meeting a person because of the person’s bad habits.”
